About the Role

Le Meridien is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to maintaining our high standards of guest satisfaction by ensuring the cleanliness and quality of all guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and play a key role in daily operations and employee development within the Housekeeping department.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities such as the pool after cleaning to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Manage room status by running reports, verifying discrepancies, prioritizing cleaning schedules, and updating departing guest room statuses.
• Assist Housekeeping management with daily activities, including preparing and communicating changes in room assignments.
• Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms in collaboration with the Front Desk.
• Complete all required paperwork and communicate relevant issues to the next shift.

Team Leadership and Operational Support

• Support management in various human resources functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Ensure all company, safety, and security policies and procedures are followed, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uniform, uphold confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and communicate effectively using clear, professional language.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None required.

Physical Demands and Workplace Standards

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts and other work-related machinery over various surfaces.
• Physical agility to reach overhead, below the knees, bend, twist, pull, stoop, and maintain standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking positions for extended periods.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Competence in using computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information, and to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
