About the Role

Nielsen Consumer LLC is seeking a Supplier Engagement Analyst to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on managing supplier engagements with retailers, e-commerce platforms, and vendors for both onboarding processes and ongoing business-as-usual activities, including data compliance and improvements. The analyst will work to strengthen relationships, enhance data quality, and ensure service levels are met across a portfolio of countries and retailers.

Role Context

This position involves working at the intersection of data, operations, and supplier engagement. The Supplier Engagement Analyst will be responsible for driving measurable improvements in how data is received and utilized, directly impacting business outcomes. The role requires close collaboration with suppliers, data governance teams, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure data receipt aligns with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with data analysts to review KPIs and lead discussions with suppliers to drive improvements in data quality.
  • Analyze data quality metrics and work with suppliers to enhance accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve retailer data quality and partner with the operations strategy team to implement these initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Support onboarding activities, including data quality testing, format alignment, and timeliness expectations.
  • Coordinate with local operations teams and project managers to finalize onboarding plans for new suppliers.
  • Manage escalations and queries from retailers, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Contribute to system improvements related to SAP, transactional data handling, FTP/MFT setup, and retailer system changes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated motivation and ability to take ownership of supplier engagements.
  • Experience or understanding of data compliance and data quality improvement processes.

  • Ability to analyze data quality metrics and drive improvements.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills for supplier engagement.
  • Organizational skills to manage a portfolio of countries and retailers.
