Teaching and Learning Excellence Specialist

About the Role

Riyadh University of Arts (جامعة الرياض للفنون) is seeking a Teaching and Learning Excellence Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting and advancing institutional teaching and learning excellence through the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational initiatives, faculty development programs, and evidence-based teaching practices. The specialist will contribute to enhancing instructional quality and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
• Promote innovative, student-centered, and evidence-based teaching and learning practices.
• Contribute to the development and dissemination of teaching and learning resources, guidelines, and best practices.
• Coordinate and support professional development programs, workshops, and training sessions for faculty members.
• Provide guidance and resources to enhance instructional strategies, assessment methods, and course design.
• Facilitate the adoption of innovative teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
• Support the evaluation of teaching and learning practices using relevant performance indicators and feedback mechanisms.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to quality enhancement initiatives in alignment with institutional policies and academic standards.
• Identify and promote emerging trends and best practices in higher education.
• Support the integration of digital learning tools and innovative educational approaches.
• Contribute to projects that enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.
• Coordinate with academic departments and relevant stakeholders to implement teaching and learning initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, prepare progress reports, and monitor the implementation of assigned activities.
• Support institutional projects and strategic initiatives related to teaching and learning excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. The position requires a professional who can contribute to enhancing instructional quality, promoting innovative pedagogical approaches, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning in alignment with institutional strategic goals and academic quality standards.
