Company Overview and Role Introduction

Dar Almasalla is a Saudi company specializing in marble fabrication, custom marble works, sanitary solutions, and interior finishing projects. Our operations combine technical accuracy, modern production methods, and skilled craftsmanship to deliver high-quality residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a Technical Draftsman Shop Drawings (Marble & Interior Finishing) to join our technical team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time role.

Role Summary

The Technical Draftsman is primarily responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical details for marble, stone, and interior finishing works. This role involves translating architectural drawings, site measurements, approved designs, and project requirements into clear, production-ready drawings suitable for fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings based on architectural drawings, design drawings, and project specifications.
• Develop fabrication and production drawings for marble, granite, natural stone, and related finishing works.
• Create plans, elevations, sections, details, and enlarged technical drawings as required.
• Ensure accurate dimensions, joint locations, edge details, openings, cut-outs, and installation details.
• Convert approved designs and site measurements into production-ready drawings.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to identify discrepancies before production.
• Coordinate drawings with site conditions, sanitary fixtures, plumbing points, electrical requirements, and other related works.
• Revise shop drawings based on consultant, client, site, or internal technical comments.
• Coordinate with estimation, production, site, design, and project teams.
• Prepare cutting details, piece identification, and production information when required.
• Ensure drawings are technically accurate and practical for fabrication and installation.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, records, and document control.
• Support the production team by clarifying drawing details and resolving technical issues when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience (0-1 years) preparing shop drawings and technical drawings.
• Experience with marble, granite, natural stone, interior finishing, fit-out, kitchens, sanitary works, or similar industries is highly preferred.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is an advantage.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Good understanding of dimensions, sections, elevations, construction details, and installation requirements.
• High attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate between drawings, site conditions, and production requirements.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple drawings and revisions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, production, and site teams.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other drafting/design software is an advantage.
