Technical Manager

About the Role

THA by Armonia is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee technical delivery for a major international event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract position requires a professional who can manage technical planning, supplier coordination, and overall readiness across multiple venues.

Role Overview

The Technical Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all technical systems are thoroughly tested, safe, and perform optimally from initial rehearsals through to live operations. The role involves leading technical aspects across all clusters of the event.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across all clusters of a major international event.
• Manage technical planning and execution for the event.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and effective technical support.
• Oversee technical readiness across multiple event venues.
• Ensure all technical systems are tested, safe, and performing as required.
• Monitor system performance from rehearsals through to live operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Manager.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and projects.
• Experience in managing technical aspects for large-scale events is preferred.

Work Environment and Type

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is a contract position focused on the technical delivery for a significant international event.
