About the Role

Cander is seeking a Technical Presales Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, possessing a strong background in Data Analytics, Data Management, and Data Engineering. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, with knowledge of Generative AI technologies and their application to analytics and decision-making being highly desirable.

Role Purpose

The Technical Presales Manager will collaborate closely with the sales team, prospects, and customers. The primary objective is to demonstrate how Cander's Unified Data and Analytics Platform can address complex data challenges and deliver tangible business value to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to deliver compelling value propositions, product demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) to prospective customers.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to understand their data architecture, business needs, and current pain points.
• Translate customer requirements into effective solutions, highlighting the platform's advantages in real-time data ingestion, transformation, and visualization.
• Build custom demos and POCs utilizing the platform, Nexus (GenAI), Data Apps, and integrations with source systems such as Oracle, SAP, and Snowflake.
• Explain data modeling concepts, query optimization, and data pipeline architecture to both technical and business audiences.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide field feedback and insights.
• Present at events, webinars, and customer workshops as a technical expert.
• Stay updated with current data trends, Generative AI developments, and regional market demands.
• Support RFPs/RFIs and contribute to technical proposals.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a presales or solutions engineering role.
• Strong background in Data Analytics, Data Management, and Data Engineering.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles.
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and their application to analytics and decision-making is highly desirable.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency with unified data and analytics platforms.
• Understanding of real-time data ingestion, transformation, and visualization.
• Experience with GenAI tools (*, Nexus) and Data Apps.
• Familiarity with integrations to source systems such as Oracle, SAP, and Snowflake.
• Ability to explain data modeling concepts, query optimization, and data pipeline architecture.
