The Role of Technical Writer Manager

Mace Group is seeking a Technical Writer Manager for a part-time position in Riyadh. This role is part of a large-scale mixed-use development project in Saudi Arabia, encompassing sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure. The Technical Writer Manager will lead integrated teams throughout project phases, ensuring the implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems and compliance with all requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion "Safety First" by ensuring compliance with HSE standards and fostering a positive safety culture.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, maintaining quality systems and supporting senior leadership to achieve program milestones.
• Oversee budgets, risks, and ethical governance to contribute to long-term business sustainability.
• Manage collaborative project teams, driving performance, stakeholder engagement, and best practice innovation across all project phases.
• Prepare and quality-check documents, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and best-practice formatting.
• Refine document structure, language, and narrative flow, maintaining a consistent style, tone, and voice.
• Develop templates, guidance, reports, and editorial standards to support excellence.
• Draft guidance and manuals on proofreading and editing best practices.
• Introduce and champion innovative approaches, tools, technologies, and AI-powered assistants to improve the efficiency, quality, and consistency of document development, review, and publication processes.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
