The Role of Track & 3rd Rail BIM Modeler + CAD Support

Alstom is seeking a full-time, onsite Track & 3rd Rail BIM Modeler + CAD Support in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves applying engineering and project management expertise to integrate design and engineering processes for track and 3rd rail systems. The position requires collaboration with various teams, including signalling, communications, civil, and MEP partners/contractors, to lead integration design and build meetings and manage multidisciplinary design and modeling efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Bundle team for design integration.
• Apply codification and processes using the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Author and review integration requirements.
• Deliver project BIM processes, methodologies, and guidance for collaborative production and data delivery.
• Direct project modeling tactics and BIM outputs across all project stages.
• Coordinate sub-systems design, clash detection, and volume clearance checking.
• Lead integration design and build meetings.
• Review submitted models for interferences and quality of details.
• Manage configuration of designs received from Civil Works and ensure necessary modifications.
• Support Construction & Delivery Managers in reviewing Civil Works delivery in alignment with integrated design.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role. The position requires expertise in engineering and project management, particularly within a CAD/BIM coordination context for rail systems.
