About the Role

Tamkeen Technologies is seeking an experienced VAPT Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on assessing and enhancing the security posture of the organization's systems, networks, web applications, and physical infrastructure.

Role Purpose

The VAPT Specialist is responsible for identifying and validating vulnerabilities, conducting authorized penetration testing, and evaluating the effectiveness of existing security controls. The role also involves providing actionable recommendations to mitigate identified risks and supporting their implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) across systems, networks, applications, web applications, and infrastructure.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning to identify deviations from approved security configurations, policies, standards, and baselines.
  • Execute authorized penetration tests using realistic attack techniques and scenarios to identify exploitable vulnerabilities.
  • Perform security testing of systems, networks, web applications, and physical facilities according to approved procedures and scope.
  • Assess the effectiveness of defense-in-depth and layered security controls against known vulnerabilities and attack scenarios.
  • Conduct web application security testing using appropriate methodologies and tools.
  • Perform source code reviews and security testing using static and dynamic application security testing tools where applicable.
  • Identify, validate, and prioritize vulnerabilities based on technical severity, exploitability, and potential business impact.
  • Prepare comprehensive VAPT and vulnerability assessment reports, including risk ratings, technical findings, remediation recommendations, and evidence.
  • Present VAPT findings to management, cybersecurity teams, IT teams, application owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide practical remediation recommendations and support technical teams in validating vulnerability remediation.
  • Design, develop, and continuously improve VAPT processes, methodologies, procedures, and testing scenarios.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess security posture across various IT domains.
  • Experience with security testing tools and methodologies.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
