VAT & ZAKAT & Payment Senior Specialist

About the Role

Enjaz is seeking a VAT & ZAKAT & Payment Senior Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and tax filings, while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and ZATCA regulations. The specialist will support daily operations, reconcile accounts, and provide timely data for reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, ensuring proper documentation for entry into Oracle.
• Prepare and process payments, including checks, transfers, and wire transfers, accurately and on time.
• Maintain organized records and comprehensive documentation for all processed payments.
• Perform regular account reconciliations for Accounts Payable (AP) transactions and general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end closing procedures by preparing accruals and generating AP-related financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT and Withholding Tax returns for submission to ZATCA.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with tax laws in all daily AP transactions.
• Collaborate closely with procurement teams and vendors to resolve any invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries from vendors and auditors.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in VAT, Zakat, and payment processing. The role requires a strong understanding of financial operations and tax compliance.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in invoice and payment processing.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of ZATCA regulations, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
• Ability to perform accurate account reconciliations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
