The Role of Venture Operational Officer

The Venture Operational Officer serves as the primary customer-facing operator for 2 to 3 ventures. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves maintaining direct connections between each venture and its users, ensuring customer feedback is routed to the appropriate internal teams, and facilitating user testing. The position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the customer interaction strategy for 2 to 3 ventures, including communication frequency and documentation.
• Conducting customer conversations and user testing sessions, either personally or by supervising a Junior Officer.
• Ensuring customer feedback is directed to the relevant internal owner within 48 hours.
• Following up with customers who provided feedback to inform them of actions taken.
• Maintaining a comprehensive customer feedback log and quote library for each venture.
• Preparing and submitting monthly customer insight memos to venture leadership.
• Representing the venture at customer events, pilot launches, and during escalation processes.

Professional Development

• Gaining an understanding of venture studio operations across Discovery, Validation, Build, Launch, and Scale phases.
• Developing skills in managing the requirements of multiple ventures simultaneously.
• Learning to navigate challenging discussions when customer evidence conflicts with team perspectives.

Career Progression

Within 18 to 24 months, as the portfolio expands, there is a clear growth path to a Senior Venture Operations role, with further potential to advance to Head of Venture Operations.

Work Environment and Schedule

This is a full-time, in-person position located at Rayh HQ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The standard work week is Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours, with occasional customer sessions scheduled outside of these hours as needed.
