Warehouse Specialist

About the Role

SRG Mining is seeking a Warehouse Officer to manage warehouse operations at an exploration camp located in a remote area of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is crucial for ensuring the field team consistently has access to necessary materials, spare parts, consumables, and equipment, while maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials, spare parts, fuel, consumables, and field equipment.
• Maintain accurate stock records within the inventory system or Excel, ensuring daily updates.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any variances identified.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests proactively to prevent shortages, considering extended delivery times to a remote site.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics teams, and suppliers regarding deliveries to the camp.
• Ensure the warehouse remains organized, clean, and compliant with HSE standards, including the safe storage of fuel, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
• Track tools and equipment issued to both staff and contractors.
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports for management review.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field, preferably within a remote or challenging environment.

This role operates within an exploration camp located in a remote area of Saudi Arabia, requiring adaptability and self-sufficiency. The position is full-time.
