About the Role
China State Construction ******* LTD(KSA) is seeking a dedicated Welfare Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the well-being and fair treatment of workers across our projects. The appointed Manager will be formally authorized by the Project Director to perform all duties related to worker welfare.
Key Responsibilities
The Welfare Manager will oversee all aspects of worker welfare, ensuring adherence to established standards and promoting a positive working environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all internal and relevant parties comply with Qiddiya worker welfare requirements.
- Overseeing worker welfare, safety, and rights across project sites.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all applicable labor standards and regulations.
- Promoting and maintaining ethical working conditions for all personnel.
Stakeholder Coordination and Support
A key aspect of this role involves effective coordination and management of resources. The Welfare Manager will:
- Coordinate worker welfare matters directly with the senior management team of any relevant party that does not have a qualified individual in this area.
- Be supported by deputies, such as Welfare Officers, to assist in the management and implementation of all worker welfare requirements.
Required Qualifications
Candidates for the Welfare Manager position must meet the following educational and professional criteria:
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent field.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in human resources or worker welfare.
Experience and Expertise
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience, ranging from 5 to 10 years, specifically within the human resources or worker welfare domain. Demonstrated experience in the Middle East region is a mandatory requirement for this role, ensuring familiarity with local labor standards and cultural contexts.
