About the Bell Captain Role

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Bell Captain to join the team at Fairmont The Red Sea. This full-time position is based in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The Bell Captain plays a central role in ensuring an exceptional arrival and departure experience for guests, upholding the high standards of luxury service.

Fairmont The Red Sea Property

Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea is situated within Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project, offering visitors access to two nature-focused resorts. The property features 361 rooms, 11 distinct dining concepts, including an overwater restaurant with views of the Red Sea and mangroves, and a dedicated Spa. It is designed as a sanctuary of refined elegance and timeless luxury, blending Fairmont's renowned graciousness and personalized service with the natural beauty and sustainability ethos of Red Sea Global.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee all guest arrival, departure, and in-house movement experiences, ensuring warmth, efficiency, and elegance.
  • Ensure guests are greeted promptly and courteously, with proper recognition of VIPs, repeat guests, and special occasions.
  • Coordinate luggage handling, storage, and delivery with the highest standards of care, accuracy, and discretion.
  • Provide personal assistance to guests when required to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise Bell Attendants, Doormen, and related staff to uphold Fairmont service culture and etiquette standards.
  • Conduct daily briefings to communicate arrivals, departures, VIP movements, and service priorities.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and duty allocations are maintained at all times.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Relations, Valet, and Security teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and control luggage storage areas, logbooks, and tracking systems to prevent loss or damage.
  • Oversee special arrangements for VIPs, groups, long-stay guests, and special events.
  • Uphold Fairmont grooming, etiquette, and communication standards at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and luggage handling procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
  • Experience in pre-opening stages of a luxury hotel is essential.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
  • Experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-opening phases.

  • Maintain impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury standards.
