About Red Sea Global Hospitality and the Role

Red Sea Global Hospitality is dedicated to responsible development and regenerative tourism, delivering guest experiences and fostering a supportive work environment. We are seeking a Director, Hospitality Projects (Technical Services) to join our team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the technical execution of residential project pre-openings and post-opening transitions, ensuring operational readiness and compliance.

Role Overview

The Director, Hospitality Projects (Technical Services) will oversee the end-to-end technical aspects of residential projects. This includes guaranteeing that all systems, infrastructure, and workflows are fully operational, compliant, and optimized for long-term success. The role serves as a critical link between construction, technical teams, and residential operations, focusing on defect resolution, system integration validation, and ensuring a smooth handover from project teams to operational management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain collaboration with the Project Delivery (PD) team to influence project outcomes and schedules.
  • Oversee the technical completion of hotels during pre-opening phases, including MEP systems, building automation, and FLS/CCTV systems.
  • Conduct snagging audits, coordinate defect resolution, and validate PD handovers to meet operational deadlines, adapting to evolving situations.
  • Develop and implement pre-opening checklists for technical systems to ensure full functionality prior to launch.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to the Operator Team during the handover process.
  • Track and monitor pending works, testing and commissioning (T&C), and training to ensure timely completion post-opening.
  • Support the Operator in managing the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
  • Mitigate risks related to delayed handovers, system failures, or non-compliance through proactive planning and contingency protocols.
  • Identify technical risks, lead problem-solving initiatives, and make informed decisions within a dynamic development environment.
  • Actively participate in project meetings to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Establish a structured documentation system for tracking project status, snag lists, and change requests.
  • Prepare and submit weekly dashboards and updates as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in hospitality project technical services.
  • PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent certifications are considered advantageous.
