About Red Sea Global and the Role

Red Sea Global (RSG), through its subsidiary Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), is responsible for developing and operating land and marine experiences at The Red Sea destination. RSSE manages a portfolio of sports, adventure, and leisure offerings, including water sports via Galaxea. This full-time, site-based role for a Dive Center Supervisor is located in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and supports the Dive Center Manager in delivering efficient, safe, and high-quality dive operations and underwater tourism activities. The supervisor acts as the senior instructional authority on-site, combining operational oversight, team supervision, and direct guest engagement within a luxury marine tourism environment, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 and environmental sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Dive Center Manager in day-to-day operations and overall performance.
  • Assist in supervising and coordinating the dive team, including instructors, dive masters, and support staff.
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of dive center operations across multiple assets.
  • Ensure alignment with environmental and sustainability requirements related to marine life and underwater tourism.
  • Maintain flexibility to support multi-site operations, including remote work and on-site presence as required.
  • Ensure safety is the highest priority across all dive operations, enforcing compliance with diving standards, emergency procedures, and risk management protocols.
  • Promote environmental stewardship and responsible diving practices aligned with conservation objectives.
  • Support regular safety reviews, audits, and continuous monitoring of operational risks.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, SOPs, and training agency standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational, training, and compliance records.
  • Provide regular feedback and reports to the Dive Center Manager on performance, guest experience, and operational matters.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and guest experience.
  • Contribute to the development of new dive programs, experiences, and service offerings.
  • Support team development through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.

Pre-Opening and Operational Duties

During the pre-opening phase, responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the setup, planning, and operational readiness of dive center facilities and assets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams during the delivery phase to ensure operational targets and timelines are achieved.
  • Supporting the development of operational procedures, safety protocols, and training standards.

Post-opening operational responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of all dive center activities, ensuring they are conducted safely, professionally, and in line with training agency standards.
  • Leading dive excursions and delivering training programs as required, acting as the senior instructor on-site.
  • Ensuring all instructors adhere to agency standards and adopt a safety-first approach.
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of dive operations, training, certifications, and guest activities.
  • Supporting retail and commercial activities, including dive-related sales and guest engagement.
  • Maintaining the overall presentation, cleanliness, and organization of the dive center.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with guests, team members, and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certified Scuba Instructor (*, PADI OWSI or equivalent) with active and current teaching status.
  • Minimum of 500 logged dives.
  • Proven experience certifying at least 50 students across core diving courses.
  • Certified in a minimum of five (5) specialty instructor ratings.
  • Demonstrated experience working in diverse geographic locations.
  • Strong background in dive center operations, including training, guiding, and retail.
  • Experience in diving health and safety practices and risk management.
  • Knowledge of equipment management and dive center logistics.
  • Valid “Fit to Dive” medical certification.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or luxury tourism environments is an advantage.

  • Marine life identification knowledge is desirable.
  • Workshop or dive equipment technician experience is desirable.

Work Environment and Context

This role operates within a luxury dive center and marine tourism environment. It requires flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and during peak seasons. The position combines operational leadership with hands-on instructional and guest-facing responsibilities, playing a critical role in ensuring safe, high-quality dive operations and exceptional guest experiences.
