The Role of Hawk AGE Technician

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated Hawk AGE Technician to join its team in Tabuk. This full-time role is central to ensuring the operational readiness of Hawk aircraft by managing all Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE). The Hawk AGE Technician is responsible for the inspection, operation, maintenance, and repair of all Hawk AGE, directly contributing to the delivery of serviceable aircraft and the fulfilment of contractual operational and flying commitments. This position offers a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to RSAF Policies and procedures, M&CA Mandates, and directives from Direct Supervisors and the Base Maintenance Manager.
  • Make informed decisions regarding fault identification, rectification, and the scheduling and planning of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure that BAE Systems AGE maintenance support is delivered effectively to meet RSAF operational requirements.
  • Provide essential support to the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) to facilitate the delivery of serviceable ground equipment, thereby fulfilling contractual operational and flying commitments.
  • Uphold a strong safety culture throughout all stages of fault finding, repairing, and delivering serviceable assets to support the customer's daily flying program.
  • Furnish accurate and up-to-date information to the AGE Supervisor to ensure the maintenance schedule is achieved, identifying and rectifying any issues that arise during maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A recognised qualification at NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or completion of a technical apprenticeship, or a suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA.
  • Alternatively, a Part 66 license (current or lapsed), or a suitable equivalent technical license acceptable to M&CA.
  • Demonstrated relevant equipment-specific training.
  • Registration with the Saudi Engineering Council (SEC).

Work Environment

The Hawk AGE Technician operates within a critical maintenance environment, directly supporting Royal Saudi Air Force flying operations. The role requires adherence to stringent safety protocols and close collaboration with supervisors and maintenance teams to ensure the continuous availability of essential ground equipment.
