The Project Context

This role is part of a Mace team dedicated to delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project located in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, requiring rapid delivery through a hands-on Construction Management approach. The initiative includes collaboration with renowned architects and global consultants.

Role Overview: Senior Construction Manager

As a Senior Construction Manager, you will provide guidance and coordination across project delivery activities, supporting the Senior Construction Delivery Team and Project Leadership Team. This full-time position requires experience in managing both main and sub-contract packages within a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Construction Delivery Team and Project Leadership Team by providing guidance and coordination across project delivery activities.
• Promote and drive key business priorities, including Construction to Production, Digital & Data, and Responsible Business initiatives.
• Develop and implement short-term delivery plans aligned with programme requirements, coordinating trade contractors and subcontractors effectively.
• Take ownership of safety, wellbeing, quality, and compliance outcomes for assigned project areas.
• Foster and maintain a positive Health, Safety, and Wellbeing culture across site operations.
• Lead and support lookahead planning and forecasting meetings, providing direction and resolving delivery challenges.
• Build strong relationships with clients, designers, and project stakeholders while managing QA processes through to final sign-off.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement construction standards, and support net-zero carbon objectives through proactive carbon management and reduction measures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Completed Apprenticeship (or equivalent qualification).
• Relevant NVQ or HNC (or equivalent qualification).
• Demonstrated experience in a site-based Managerial role (or equivalent).
• Possession of SMSTS certification and a Managerial / Professional CSCS Card.
