Project Controls Manager

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with projects located in Taif and Makkah. This full-time position involves leading a team of professionals in overseeing all phases of critical projects, focusing on planning, scheduling, and cost analysis. The role requires a versatile professional with strong communication, analytical, and management skills to address complex construction challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and specialized assistance to projects for resolving complex project control issues.
• Interface with clients, attend regular meetings, and prepare statistical reports.
• Manage a team of Project Control Engineers/Specialists responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and forecasting project costs and performance against established schedules and critical milestones.
• Assess the impact of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of a system to display the hierarchy of plans and schedules, ensuring project and company management are fully informed.
• Coordinate staffing requirements, assign and supervise project work activities, and provide training to personnel.
• Complete performance reviews and facilitate personnel development for assigned employees.
• Recommend and oversee the customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
• Create statistical reports for management on a recurring or ad-hoc basis.
• Participate in business development efforts by gathering and presenting background data.
• Deliver informal or formal presentations as required.
• Perform other associated responsibilities as appropriate.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls activities.
• Demonstrated experience in managing small to medium-sized projects.
• Extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients.
• Must meet Parsons Project Controls Manager Certification requirements.
