About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Weapon Tech to join their team in Taif. This full-time position involves maintaining aircraft engineering and flight line servicing standards to support the RSAF Typhoon Flying programme. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Objective

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the maintenance of all documentation and data related to aircraft engineering and flight line servicing. This includes supporting the RSAF Typhoon Flying programme and generating aircraft to meet the Commander’s operational intent. The Weapon Tech will carry out engineering activities in accordance with approved data and associated regulations, as directed by Trade Supervisors or Senior Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Specialist Trade maintenance activities or flight line duties as required by the RSAF and directed by line management.
• Ensure all continuing airworthiness and maintenance activities within the area of responsibility comply with approved data and associated regulations.
• Confirm that all engineering activity is covered by the appropriate delegated Engineering Authority.
• Maintain high standards for all documentation and data related to aircraft engineering and servicing activities.
• Ensure all personnel engaged in activities follow correct practices and observe safety precautions, adhering to RSAF LMR and BAE Systems Operation Framework requirements.
• Adhere to good husbandry practices by conducting post-maintenance reviews to ensure aircraft, tools, and equipment are returned to the appropriate area in the required condition.
• Support the RSAF Safety program by maintaining high standards, supporting the RSAF FOD programme, and raising required safety forms (*, 1400-061) in accordance with the RSAF regulatory framework.
• Maintain effective communication and liaison with line management and additional management staff in the AGF.
• Manage personal administration, including reporting individual issues or sickness to line management, ensuring return-to-work interviews are completed, and correctly submitting mandatory timesheets in accordance with company policy.
• Ensure understanding and adherence to the Safety and Quality Management System.
• Complete any other reasonable duties or requests made by line management.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in aircraft engineering, maintenance, or flight line servicing. A strong understanding of aircraft documentation standards and regulatory frameworks is essential.
