About the Role

Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea, part of Accor, is seeking an experienced Account Payable Manager to join its finance team in Umluj. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong understanding of accounts payable operations to ensure accurate and timely financial processes within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, verification, and payment execution.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and promptly address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all payable transactions, ensuring adherence to company policies and Saudi Arabian financial regulations.
  • Process invoices and payments efficiently, respecting established approval workflows and authorization limits.
  • Develop and implement accounts payable procedures to enhance operational efficiency and best practices.
  • Analyze accounts payable aging reports to support effective cash flow management.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve billing inquiries, disputes, and negotiate payment terms.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and reconciliations for management review.
  • Train and supervise accounts payable staff, ensuring compliance with processes and requirements.
  • Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for organized financial record-keeping.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational financial objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounts payable management or a similar accounting role.
  • Proven experience managing accounts payable operations, preferably within the hospitality or hotel sector.
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Strong expertise in invoice processing, vendor management, and financial reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabia financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with multi-currency transactions and international vendor management is beneficial.
