About Qiddiya and the Opportunity
Qiddiya is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager - Accounts Payable to join its finance department. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is crucial for maintaining efficient accounts payable operations to support the company's financial health.
Role Purpose and Contribution
The Assistant Manager will lead the accounts payable processes, ensuring all invoices and payments are processed accurately and timely. This role involves fostering strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, overseeing accounts payable activities, auditing processes, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. The leadership provided will contribute directly to the continuous improvement of Qiddiya's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Manage communications with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Maintain accurate vendor information and records in the accounting system.
- Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure internal controls are followed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Prepare reports and analyze accounts payable data to identify trends and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Keep up to date with best practices and regulatory requirements relevant to accounts payable management.
Required Experience
Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in accounts payable management or a related financial role. A proven track record of leading accounts payable processes and ensuring financial compliance is essential.
Work Setting and Location
This is a full-time role within Qiddiya's finance department, located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work within a team-oriented environment, contributing to the financial operations of a significant development project.
