About the Turndown Attendant Role

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Turndown Attendant for its new resort at The Red Sea. This full-time position is central to maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall comfort of guest rooms in line with Four Seasons standards. The role plays a key part in delivering a personalized guest experience by ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment for all guests.

The Red Sea Resort and Location

The Red Sea destination, located along 200 kilometers of coastline between Umluj and Al Wajh, is being developed with sustainable practices and tourism at its core. The new Four Seasons Resort will be situated on Shura Island, which serves as the development's hub and features a yacht marina, leisure facilities, retail, and an 18-hole golf course. The resort will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites with uninterrupted views, six restaurant and lounge outlets, meeting spaces, a marine discovery center, and a full-service spa.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and self-inspect assigned guest rooms according to Four Seasons standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in both front- and back-of-house areas, including service pantries.
• Report any maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Handle guest items respectfully and responsibly; report and hand over any found items to Housekeeping immediately.
• Respect and maintain guest privacy; use “Service In Progress” signage as appropriate.
• Ensure master key security and report any key loss immediately.
• Participate in scheduled deep cleaning assignments and special cleaning projects.
• Ensure correct stock levels and proper use of chemicals, tools, and housekeeping carts.
• Complete control lists and checklists as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain professional grooming and uniform standards at all times.

Guest Service Standards

• Offer friendly and genuine service to all guests and internal stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, following through or escalating where appropriate.
• Take ownership of guest feedback and issues, seeking to resolve matters effectively.
• Support hotel promotions and services when engaging with guests.
• Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and care by adhering to the Four Seasons Golden Rule.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations is preferred.
• Ability to work with attention to detail, efficiency, and consistency.
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and chemical handling (MSDS) is preferred.
