Construction & Commissioning Engineer

About the Role

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking experienced Construction & Commissioning Engineers to join their team in Yanbu. This full-time role focuses on refinery and petrochemical projects, with a preference for candidates located in the Western Region. The position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
• Monitor site progress, address technical issues, and ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Vendors, and Construction teams to achieve project objectives.
• Manage Mechanical Completion, Punch List closure, System Turnover, and handover documentation.
• Execute pre-commissioning activities, including flushing, pressure testing, loop checking, and functional testing.
• Lead commissioning and start-up activities for process, utility, and support systems.
• Support troubleshooting, performance testing, and final handover to Operations.
• Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and project close-out documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
• Mandatory experience with Saudi Aramco projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and system handover activities.
• Experience in Saudi Aramco Brownfield and Greenfield projects, Utilities, Tank Farms, Pipelines, and Industrial Facilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation systems.

Work Location

This position is based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Western Region.
