About the Role

Saudi Entertainment Ventures | SEVEN is seeking a Finance Manager Operations to join its team in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position serves as an embedded finance business partner for Operations, providing financial leadership, strategic insights, and decision support to venue management teams. The role is critical in driving profitability and cost optimization across all entertainment destinations.

Financial Leadership and Strategy

The Finance Manager Operations is responsible for managing the financial results for assigned destinations, owning venue P&L performance. This includes analyzing various revenue streams such as tickets, F&B, retail, and attractions, alongside monitoring operating costs. The objective is to drive actions that achieve EBITDA and profitability targets for the entertainment venues.

Operational Financial Management

Key responsibilities in operational financial management include:

• Serving as a trusted advisor to venue and operations managers, participating in operational planning discussions.
• Translating financial data into actionable insights and influencing decisions at the idea stage.
• Tracking key performance indicators such as per capita spend, attendance versus forecast, revenue per visitor, labor cost ratios, and F&B margins, and recommending improvements.
• Collaborating with venue managers to develop accurate budgets and forecasts, incorporating seasonality patterns, event calendars, and operational capacity.
• Providing variance analysis with corrective recommendations to financial plans.

Cost Optimization and Controls

This role focuses on identifying and implementing strategies for cost efficiency and ensuring financial integrity. Responsibilities include:

• Identifying opportunities to reduce operating costs without compromising guest experience.
• Analyzing labor scheduling efficiency and monitoring vendor costs.
• Implementing cost control initiatives in partnership with operations leadership.
• Overseeing cash handling procedures at venues and monitoring inventory management and shrinkage.
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies and supporting internal and external audits of operational areas.

Team Leadership and Development

The Finance Manager Operations is responsible for developing and leading the operations finance team. This involves setting objectives for operations finance analysts, providing coaching and mentorship, and building a high-performing team that delivers value to the business.

Required Experience

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in finance, ideally within an operations-focused environment or the entertainment industry.
