Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Yanbu. This full-time role involves comprehensive management of tender and contract documentation, cost planning, and financial oversight for various projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in quantity surveying.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and preliminary estimates to define project budgets.
• Review and recommend contractor's claims and variations.
• Prepare and review all types of DCR (Daily Cost Reports), BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and RBOQs (Revised Bills of Quantities).
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material surveying based on plans and specifications.
• Perform rate analysis for change order items.
• Supervise and prepare quantity measurements and supporting documents as required, and review contractor's payment certificates.
• Prepare and price Change Orders, negotiating agreements with clients and contractors as necessary.
• Negotiate contracts with contractors.
• Develop formats for all job trades in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Perform cost planning to assist the design team in achieving practical solutions within project budgets.
• Review and prepare monthly progress reports in coordination with site engineers for monthly invoices.
• Review and prepare monthly cash flow statements.
• Participate in the procurement process and negotiations to ensure adherence to the set budget.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and review tender and contract documentation.
• Proficiency in cost planning, budget management, and financial reporting.
• Strong negotiation skills with clients and contractors.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards for job trade formats.
