About the ABAP Consultant - BTP Role

Müller`s Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant – BTP to join our team. This full-time role focuses on developing, extending, integrating, and supporting SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage modern ABAP technologies and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services to deliver robust solutions, requiring a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and modern ABAP development practices.
• Design and implement applications and extensions on SAP BTP, adhering to ABAP Cloud / Steampunk and cloud-compliant development approaches.
• Develop and maintain ABAP Objects, CDS Views, RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), OData services, REST APIs, BAPIs, RFCs, User Exits, BAdIs, and the Enhancement Framework.
• Develop and support SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and optimize database solutions with SAP HANA.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP and external systems utilizing SAP BTP Integration Suite and various APIs.
• Support SAP S/4HANA extensions and custom developments, ensuring adherence to SAP clean-core principles.
• Analyze technical requirements, translate them into scalable SAP solutions, and prepare comprehensive technical specifications and documentation.
• Perform code reviews, performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting, while supporting unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders, providing technical support during implementation and post-go-live phases.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP and ABAP Objects.
• Proficiency with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
• Extensive experience in developing OData and REST APIs.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA development and extensions.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in debugging, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Key Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SAP BTP Extension Suite.
• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite is highly preferred.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and SAP Cloud Connector is a plus.

Industry and Additional Preferences

• Automotive industry experience is highly preferred, including work with automotive OEMs, distributors, dealerships, or service organizations.
• Experience developing SAP solutions for automotive business processes and working on SAP BTP/S/4HANA projects within an automotive environment.
• SAP ABAP or SAP BTP certification is an advantage.
• Experience with S/4HANA Cloud and Clean Core, ABAP Cloud / Steampunk, CAP and ****, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience in the GCC/Saudi market is a plus.
