Role Overview

The Assistant Manager - Tax will support the tax department in managing tax compliance, planning, and reporting. This role ensures the organization adheres to all tax laws and regulations while optimizing its tax position. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support tax planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities while adhering to legal requirements.
• Conduct research on tax legislation and interpret its implications for the organization.
• Assist in managing relationships with external tax advisors and act as a liaison with tax authorities.
• Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits related to tax matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business operations and decisions.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and recommend adjustments to policies and practices as necessary.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on tax compliance and best practices.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
