Role Overview: Sous Chef - Garde Manger

The Sous Chef - Garde Manger is responsible for maintaining high standards in all Commissary/Cold/Butcher preparation, service, and hygiene within their assigned Production Kitchen. This role ensures adherence to management standards and is fully accountable for all cold production within their area of competency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operations during all meal periods.
• Gather feedback from colleagues and guests by maintaining an active presence in outlets during operating hours.
• Practice and role-model the Guiding Principles and Core Values of Shangri-La Hospitality.
• Reduce waste of supplies and materials through re-use or selling.
• Attend scheduled training sessions.
• Conduct and attend briefings.
• Coordinate daily events with outlet managers.
• Communicate regularly with staff through one-on-one counseling.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience.
