Constructability Manager

About the Role

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking a Constructability Manager to join their team in Al Khobar. This full-time role requires over 15 years of experience and involves becoming a key member of a multi-discipline team, focusing on site schedules, activities, and project goals. The Constructability Manager will establish and maintain strong working relationships, advise on constructability concerns, and actively participate in resolving design-related issues to ensure construction considerations are integrated into the design process.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the KBR ZeroHarm safety program.
• Lead the project constructability program for all projects managed from the Khobar office.
• Drive engineering solutions that promote safe and quality-driven construction execution methods.
• Take a proactive role in conducting constructability workshops.
• Maintain project constructability registers throughout all project phases.
• Identify project drivers across commissioning, procurement, and engineering that support constructability programs.
• Identify optimum construction sequencing in brownfield environments to support tie-in or general construction work.
• Ensure heavy lift and logistics requirements for brownfield work activities are included within the constructability program.
• Identify construction solutions for maximizing off-site fabrication to reduce site-related hours.
• Identify construction solutions in brownfield environments that minimize shutdown time for operations.
• Participate in site surveys to identify resolutions for project constructability programs.
• Participate in safety inspections and audits of Contractor’s fabrication and erection facilities.

Reporting Structure and Interactions

This position reports directly to the Project Manager. The Constructability Manager will interact with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and effective communication. Key interactions include:

• Project discipline engineering and procurement teams
• Contractor’s engineering and construction personnel
• Vendor representatives
• Dimensional control contractor
• Operations personnel
• Transportation contractor

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Constructability Manager position should possess more than 15 years of relevant experience. The role requires a strong understanding of site schedules, activities, and project goals, along with the ability to foster and maintain a team approach.
