Construction Manager (Oil & gas/Petrochemical experience)

About the Role

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead major Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects. This contract position is based in Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with a strong background in managing both greenfield and brownfield developments within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment. The role focuses on ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all site construction activities for large-scale Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
• Lead and coordinate EPC contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, industry regulations, and project specifications.
• Review and approve construction execution plans, schedules, method statements, and work packs.
• Interface with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks, resolving technical and execution challenges.
• Oversee brownfield tie-ins, shutdown activities, and live plant interface management.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and progress reviews.
• Prepare and present construction reports to project management and stakeholders.
• Support commissioning and handover activities through project completion.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 15+ years of construction experience within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, or Energy sector.
• Minimum 5 years in a Construction Manager role on major capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience on both greenfield and brownfield developments.
• Proven experience working within PMC (Project Management Consultancy) projects.
• GCC/Middle East project experience.

Work Type and Location

This is a contract position located in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading construction activities for major projects within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.
