About the Role

NES Global Talent is seeking a Construction Manager - Package 1 for a full-time position. This role involves leading all construction-related activities, providing leadership to multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring contractors deliver work safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards on a world-class mega-project.

Role Context

This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic international environment alongside major industry stakeholders on a landmark petrochemical megaproject. It is suited for a seasoned construction professional who thrives in large-scale project environments and is focused on delivering complex industrial facilities safely, efficiently, and successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and manage all construction activities across Package 1.
• Promote and strengthen a strong HSE culture, ensuring safety remains the top priority on site.
• Develop construction strategies, execution plans, and site management procedures.
• Drive schedule performance by identifying risks, delays, and optimization opportunities.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans, construction sequences, and execution strategies.
• Oversee contractors' construction engineering, field planning, coordination, and execution activities.
• Ensure effective management of testing and pre-commissioning activities.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, commissioning, operations, and project management teams to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
• Manage site interfaces, change management processes, and construction-related contractual matters.
• Monitor project performance in terms of safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Facilitate constructability reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure complete and accurate project documentation, including final handover and As-Built dossiers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management.
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale project environments and complex construction operations.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage contractors effectively.
