The Role of Consultant Otolaryngologist (Head and Neck)

GNP Hospitals Group is seeking a Consultant Otolaryngologist (Head and Neck) to provide specialized diagnosis and treatment for conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and the broader head and neck region. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Saudi Arabia, requiring 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting outpatient clinics for patient consultations and examinations.
• Performing inpatient ward rounds to monitor and manage patient care.
• Interpreting diagnostic tests to inform clinical decisions.
• Performing surgical procedures in accordance with evidence-based practice.
• Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participating in clinical case discussions and contributing to treatment planning.
• Ensuring continuity of care for all patients.
• Supervising junior medical staff and contributing to their professional development.
• Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement activities within the department.
• Participating in patient and family education regarding conditions and treatment plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A medical degree and relevant specialization in Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery).
• Between 5 and 10 years of experience as a Consultant Otolaryngologist.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating conditions of the ear, nose, throat, and head and neck.
• Proficiency in performing surgical procedures related to the specialty.
