About the Role
Bupa Arabia is seeking a Registrar ENT (Otolaryngology) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered ENT services in both physical and digital care settings, under the supervision of a Consultant ENT. The role focuses on comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of ear, nose, and throat conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ENT assessments through physical and virtual consultations.
- Review medical history, symptoms, investigations, imaging, and examination findings.
- Utilize digital tools and telemedicine platforms for remote ENT evaluations.
- Recommend and coordinate appropriate diagnostic investigations and specialist referrals.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Prescribe medications and recommend non-pharmacological interventions as appropriate.
- Provide structured follow-up care and monitor patient treatment adherence.
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the Consultant ENT or multidisciplinary teams.
Clinical Quality and Patient Safety
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance requirements and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system for all patient interactions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and departmental meetings.
- Report and manage clinical incidents and adverse events in a timely and appropriate manner.
Collaboration and Patient Care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams across physical and digital ENT services.
- Coordinate referrals, investigations, and continuity of care for patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and case reviews.
- Provide empathetic, patient-centered ENT care with clarity and professionalism.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive ENT care.
Qualifications and Professional Development
- Experience required: 0-1 years.
- Active participation in CME activities and professional development programs.
- Stay updated on ENT clinical guidelines, telemedicine practice standards, and advancements.
- Maintain active SCFHS registration and comply with licensing and credentialing requirements.
Work Environment
This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis within Bupa CareConnect, supporting the delivery of integrated ENT services.
