Cost Control Engineer

About the Role

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Cost Control Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing cost engineering, project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting for large-scale capital projects, with a preference for experience within the oil & gas industry.

Role Overview

The Lead Engineer (Cost Control Engineer) will be responsible for managing all aspects of project cost control. This includes ensuring financial compliance, providing critical cost analysis, and supporting project management decisions to maintain projects within approved budgets and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities for capital projects.
• Prepare, maintain, and review accurate monthly cost reports and project cost forecasts.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets, contracts, and cost control requirements.
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to support project management and decision-making.
• Ensure engineering, procurement, construction, and project completion activities comply with contractual, cost, and company requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Support project controls and ensure proper implementation of cost management procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in cost control engineering.
• Proven experience in managing cost engineering and project controls for large-scale capital projects.
• Experience within the oil & gas industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting methodologies.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, requiring dedicated engagement in managing the financial aspects of significant capital projects.
