About the Role

ASMO is seeking a Dock Controller Spark Site to manage loading and unloading activities at chemical disposal and logistics hubs. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials, coordinating schedules, and maintaining accurate documentation across ASMO's operations.

Role Overview

The Dock Controller is responsible for overseeing all operations at the loading and unloading docks. This includes managing schedules, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with various teams to optimize material flow. The position requires a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement within the supply chain and logistics framework.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the loading and unloading of materials within the dock area.
Manage dock schedules to optimize resource utilization and minimize wait times.
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all dock operations.
Collaborate effectively with transport personnel and warehouse teams to prioritize and sequence dock activities.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation related to inbound and outbound materials.
Monitor and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies that arise in the dock area.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the dock area.
Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Implement all relevant Supply Chain & Logistics department policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure controlled and consistent work execution.
Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports that meet departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
