About the Role
UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking an Employee Relations Team Leader. This full-time role involves supporting the implementation of employee relations programs, policies, and procedures. The Team Leader will focus on maintaining positive communication and relationships with employees to enhance overall satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing the department’s short to mid-term plans.
- Promote customer-centric services and ensure fair and transparent people practices.
- Monitor and track the performance of direct reports, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Contribute ideas to ensure smooth workflow of day-to-day operations.
- Comply with attendance protocols and oversee direct subordinates’ daily attendance records; analyze monthly payroll attendance reports and prepare warnings according to the sanction matrix.
- Provide adequate support and guidance to the business and stakeholders on employee relations matters, including attendance, grievance handling, discipline, and employee separations.
- Ensure all employee-related documents are filed throughout their lifecycle.
- Stay updated with current employee relations legislation.
- Ensure HR direct subordinates comply with Company Policies and Procedures.
- Support and advise managers and HR team members on employee relations issues.
- Investigate reported cases of indiscipline or misconduct and lead disciplinary procedures.
- Investigate grievance cases with confidentiality and provide fair, unbiased resolutions.
- Communicate employee action letters, such as promotions, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant HSEandE and QM policies, procedures, and controls to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality service standards, and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- 0-1 year of relevant experience is required for this role.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position within UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company, focusing on maintaining a positive and compliant work environment through effective employee relations practices.
Additional Duties
- Perform any other duty, within reasonable professional boundaries, as assigned by the Manager.
