The Executive Event Sales Role

This full-time Executive Event Sales position is based in the Red Sea region. The role involves utilizing sales techniques to optimize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, processing reservations and requests, and supporting sales and marketing functions. The successful candidate will contribute to promoting brand image and ensuring high standards of guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact relevant departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest inquiries or issues.
  • Implement sales techniques to maximize revenue while preserving guest loyalty, including upselling.
  • Process all room reservations, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
  • Enter Marriott Rewards program information accurately when taking guest reservations.
  • Attend to, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales and Marketing, such as filing, emailing, and transcribing information.
  • Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and protect company assets.
  • Acknowledge and receive guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using proper protocol.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Monitor performance to ensure expectations and quality standards are met.
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats.
  • Lift and move objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related work experience is necessary for this role.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
