About the Role
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Cluster Event Sales Executive to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques while maintaining guest loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact appropriate individuals or departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
- Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue, including up-selling, while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
- Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage (*, rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates).
- Promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally.
- Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
- Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, such as filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
Team Collaboration and Professional Conduct
- Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Communicate professionally and clearly, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team in achieving common goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Physical and Administrative Tasks
- Read and visually verify information in various formats.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
- License or Certification: None specified.
