Hair Stylist

About the Role

Edition is seeking a Hair Stylist to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive hair care services to guests, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. The role requires a professional who can deliver various styling, cutting, and coloring services while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hair care services including cutting, designing, coloring, and styling for guests.
• Shampoo, condition, and rinse guests' hair as part of the service.
• Examine hair to evaluate its condition and determine the appropriateness of scheduled services.
• Advise guests on proper hair care and recommend suitable home care regimens.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services and retail products to guests.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms as needed.
• Set up workstations with necessary products, equipment, and supplies, ensuring guest comfort and safety.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and equipment regularly.
• Monitor and adhere to the daily time schedule for appointments.
• Address inappropriate guest behavior by stopping service and informing a supervisor or manager.
• Maintain current licensure in the service area.

Operational Duties and Professional Conduct

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members, supporting common goals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: Current licensure in the service area is required.
