Hair Stylist

About the Role

Edition is seeking a Hair Stylist to provide comprehensive hairdressing services to clients in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves delivering high-quality hair care, styling, and client consultation, ensuring a professional and safe service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hairdressing services including cutting, coloring, and styling.
• Shampoo, treat, and rinse clients' hair as required.
• Examine hair and skin to assess condition and suitability for planned services.
• Advise clients on appropriate hair care treatments and recommend home care products.
• Promote and sell spa/beauty salon services and products.
• Escort clients to treatment rooms and prepare workstations with necessary products and equipment.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize instruments according to hygiene standards.
• Monitor and adhere to the daily schedule.
• Manage inappropriate client behavior, stopping service if necessary and notifying a supervisor.
• Maintain a valid license to practice the provided service at all times.
• Report accidents, injuries, and dangerous working conditions to management, and complete required safety training.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including uniform standards and maintaining a professional appearance.
• Welcome clients, anticipate their needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and use clear, courteous language.
• Develop positive professional relationships with colleagues and collaborate to achieve common goals.
• Comply with quality requirements and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or professional institution.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in hairdressing.
• Supervisory Experience: Not required.
• License/Certification: A valid license to practice for the service provided is essential.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to work standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods. Candidates must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads weighing up to kilograms independently. The position is full-time within a salon environment.
