About the Role of Host/Hostess

Ibis, Ibis Styles, and Ibis Budget are seeking a Host/Hostess of Saudi Nationality to join their team in the 'Asir region. This full-time role is central to delivering exceptional guest experiences by warmly welcoming, guiding, and assisting guests throughout their dining journey. The Host/Hostess serves as the initial point of contact for the restaurant, creating a refined and personalized arrival experience that reflects the reliable and adaptable spirit of the Ibis brand.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Food & Beverage team, the Host/Hostess supports smooth front-of-house operations. Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and engaging guests in a warm, professional, and confident manner, aligned with Ibis service standards.
• Managing guest seating, table allocations, and dining flow based on reservations and walk-in guests.
• Coordinating with the service team to accommodate guest requests and ensure expectations are met.
• Maintaining strong knowledge of menus, special events, seating arrangements, and guest preferences.
• Handling guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally, escalating when required.
• Maintaining an organized and welcoming host stand and reception area throughout service.
• Managing reservations accurately using restaurant reservation systems, including guest details and seating plans.
• Confirming reservation information and communicating updates with relevant team members.
• Answering phone calls professionally and assisting guests with inquiries and bookings.
• Coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to support efficient service flow.
• Assisting with side duties such as menu preparation, table resets, and maintaining the entrance area.
• Maintaining Ibis grooming and appearance standards while representing the brand with confidence and professionalism.
• Following all health, safety, hygiene, and company service standards.
• Contributing to a positive team environment through collaboration and effective communication.
