Role Overview

The Hotel Manager (Saudi National Only) is a key member of the hotel's Strategic Forum, working closely with the General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across the property. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring seamless hotel operations, exceptional guest experiences, strong financial results, and effective inter-departmental collaboration. The Hotel Manager provides leadership and direction to department heads, ensuring operational strategies, service standards, and business objectives are consistently achieved while upholding FAENA’s culture of luxury and personalized hospitality. The role requires a highly visible leader who actively engages with guests and team members, drives operational excellence, and assumes overall hotel leadership responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in developing and executing the hotel’s strategic direction and business objectives.
  • Provide leadership and oversight across hotel operations, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment between departments.
  • Lead department heads in achieving operational, financial, service, and people objectives.
  • Ensure the effective execution of FAENA brand standards, policies, and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence, engaging regularly with guests, leaders, and team members.
  • Monitor hotel performance to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion FAENA’s culture of authentic and exceptional hospitality across all guest touchpoints.
  • Ensure guest experiences consistently reflect the luxury positioning and service philosophy of FAENA.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and feedback, implementing appropriate action plans.
  • Lead effective service recovery, resolving guest concerns professionally.
  • Partner with operational leaders and the Quality function to elevate service standards.
  • Support the General Manager in achieving the hotel’s revenue, profitability, and financial objectives.
  • Monitor operational budgets, forecasts, labor productivity, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Review financial and operational performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with Finance, Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, and operational leaders to maximize profitability.
  • Lead, inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of department heads.
  • Foster a culture that reflects FAENA’s values of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Partner with People & Culture on workforce planning, talent development, and performance management.
  • Ensure hotel operations comply with company policies, local regulations, and health and safety requirements.
  • Champion a strong culture of safety, security, and operational risk awareness.
  • Serve as a key member of the hotel's Strategic Forum and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in hotel management.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and operational leadership.
  • Proven track record in ensuring seamless hotel operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Experience in achieving strong financial results and effective collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to uphold a distinctive culture of luxury, creativity, and personalized hospitality.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, within the FAENA The Red Sea property. The role involves working closely with the General Manager and leading various department heads, contributing to a dynamic and evolving luxury hospitality environment.
