Role Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for preparing guest rooms to ensure they are clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. This role directly impacts guest satisfaction by maintaining an environment where guests feel at home and all details are in place, from immaculate linens to sparkling surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Replace products and supplies in guest rooms.
• Make beds and fold sheets according to established standards.
• Empty trash, clear dirty linens, and remove room service items.
• Greet guests and record their requests.
• Store office supplies and arrange furniture and appliances within rooms.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furniture.
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lb (11 kg).
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Clear communication skills.
• Maintenance of a neat, professional appearance in a clean uniform.
• Completion of required training and acquisition of a safety certificate prior to starting the position.
