HVAC Technician

About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time role involves the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, or industrial facilities. The primary objective is to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, VRF/VRV systems, split and packaged units, and exhaust/fresh air systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to established schedules.
• Diagnose system faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensure proper execution of refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming, and leak detection procedures.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, local codes, and project quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and records.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades as necessary.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns when required.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
