About the Investment Banking Mentor Role

Wall Street Oasis (WSO) is expanding its Mentorship Program and is seeking experienced professionals to join its network of mentors. This program supports students and young professionals preparing for careers in finance. The role is part-time and remote, with an estimated annual salary range of $50,000–$100,000+.

Role Responsibilities

Mentors will provide direct support to individuals seeking to advance in finance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting one-on-one coaching sessions, offering personalized mock interviews, resume critiques, and career advice.
  • Optionally leading small group cohort guidance sessions, particularly focused on Investment Banking (IB) and Private Equity (PE) recruiting cycles.
  • Optionally contributing to the enhancement of WSO's educational content, including financial modeling and interview preparation materials.
  • Sharing real-world insights and providing constructive feedback to help mentees achieve their career goals.

Required Professional Experience

Candidates should possess relevant experience in the finance industry. Specific requirements include:

  • Experience in Investment Banking, or related fields such as Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Sales & Trading, or similar.
  • Current or former professional roles including Analyst, Associate, Vice President (VP), Principal, or Engagement Manager.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
