The Junior Accountant Role

Smart Technology Solutions is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its full-time team. This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions, contributing to the overall financial health and operational efficiency of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions accurately.
• Prepare invoices and process payment entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts and supplier balances regularly.
• Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain comprehensive financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist with monthly financial closing activities.
• Support VAT preparation and ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements.
• Prepare basic financial reports as required.
• Coordinate with external auditors when necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• One to three years of accounting experience.
• Demonstrated experience within the Saudi market.
• Basic knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements.
• Experience with ERP or other accounting systems.

Essential Skills

• Very good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Very good command of the English language.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
