Role Overview: Laundry Supervisor - Saudi National

The Laundry Supervisor - Saudi National will play a key role in ensuring the consistent delivery of The Ritz-Carlton's "Gold Standards" in service and quality. This full-time position involves supporting Housekeeping management in daily operations and coordinating efforts across various departments to maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and property appearance. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management with daily activities and act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments, and communicate issues to the next shift.
• Complete all required paperwork and assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing necessary safety training.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally with others and foster positive working relationships.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
