About the Role

Ma’aden is seeking a Lead Geologist to drive mineral resource discovery and growth within its exploration portfolio. This full-time role focuses on translating geological interpretation, drilling outcomes, and technical insights into increased resource confidence, future mine development options, and informed investment decisions. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Lead Geologist strengthens exploration performance and resource quality, contributing to Ma'aden's long-term business value. This involves strategic planning for resource growth and ensuring exploration activities align with broader company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape exploration plans to advance priority targets and resource growth opportunities.
• Define mineralization potential through disciplined geological interpretation and technical evaluation.
• Deliver drilling and field programs that enhance resource confidence and project readiness.
• Convert exploration results into clear recommendations for portfolio and investment decisions.
• Lead exploration drilling, mapping, sampling, and field activities across assigned assets.
• Optimize field execution to improve safety, productivity, cost control, and technical quality.
• Coordinate contractors, equipment, and resources to achieve exploration priorities.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Governance

• Align exploration activities with resource development, mining, study, and business priorities.
• Provide expert guidance to support technical decisions and cross-functional alignment.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, technical, and reporting standards.
• Apply leading exploration practices, tools, and technologies to improve performance.
• Build technical capability and promote knowledge sharing across exploration teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant geological exploration role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead field activities and manage resources effectively.
• Strong understanding of geological interpretation and technical evaluation processes.
