About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Manager - CCU Crisis Readiness (DEL 3). This full-time role is central to ensuring the City Command Unit (CCU) is fully prepared to manage and respond effectively to large-scale crises, major incidents, and emergency scenarios across Qiddiya.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary focus of this position is on strategic planning, comprehensive preparedness, and rigorous exercising to build robust organizational resilience. The Manager will ensure seamless crisis activation and response mechanisms are in place throughout the city, safeguarding Qiddiya's assets and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve crisis management plans, emergency response frameworks, and business continuity procedures for city-wide operations.
  • Design, plan, and facilitate crisis simulation exercises, tabletop scenarios, and full-scale drills involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify gaps in crisis preparedness across city assets.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, emergency services, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with national and local crisis management requirements.
  • Establish and maintain crisis communication protocols, ensuring clear and timely information flow during major events.
  • Lead after-action reviews following exercises and real events, producing recommendations for corrective action and capability improvement.
  • Support live control room operations by manning the crisis operations desk, if required.
  • Support the integration of crisis readiness standards into the operational readiness framework across all Qiddiya assets.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in crisis management, emergency preparedness, or a related field. The ability to develop and implement robust readiness strategies within a complex operational environment is essential.
